I have a FN-30 parts kit and a brasscartridge 80% RH side plate. The kit is missing the rear site. I got the kit and bought the 80% RH plate to get in line to get it built by Halo, but is seems that they are not going to build any guns, just the semi auto kits so that people can build them, them selfs. I can't build it myself (not skilled enough don't have the tools and time). Unless you all know anyone that is building them for people. I also have a 1910 Maxim kit that I would like built, but would have to sell the FN kit to raise some money. I would like to have both built but I think I can only afford to get one done. Just wondering the going rate for the FN-30 kit would be.

I thought a FN-30 went for close to double what a 1919A4 kit does. Guess I was way off:confused:

It is like a lot of the various kits that are not in commercial channels anymore, the price bounces all over. I have been tracking FN30 kits for the last six months and I can say that the prices have run as high as $750 to as low as $400 for ones sold on GB, Sturmgwehr, 1919a4, ect.. that I have seen. I would estimate $550 is a ball park range right now for a quick sell. Now that is not to say one wouldn't get even a $1000 if the "right" buyer sees the ad. Otherwords someone that is clueless on price or just doesn't care on the cost.

personaly I think you are crazy to sell it, I would keep it, they are really nice guns and great shooters when done. I converted mine to 30 06 and it rocks!!
Stan,

Do you have any pictures or information on the FN30 cartridge stop modifications to shoot 30-06 or better yet 8mm?
I am not rich enough to shoot .308 anymore.

I really don't want to sell it, I hoping that I can come up with the money some other way. I don't need to sell it, I want to get the maxim built (but I don't need it built). I guess I just don't want to wait around to get the maxim built.
