Received this handle a while ago and thought the rust would be a thin layer and could simply be removed, but it was more like when you pull on a small piece of thread only to find you just ruined a good shirt.
Anyway, who can clean up my mess and make it where it doesn't look like a 3 year old tried messing with it?
once you pop the cap off then the fun begins trying to remove the wooden handle that is held on by the rust swelling from underneath, a punch and a hammer worked for me!
