An outspoken Long Island gun owner's home was raided by Nassau County detectives, who seized two dozen weapons he lawfully owns just one day after Rep. Carolyn McCarthy's office made a 911 call about him.

Freeport resident Gabriel Razzano claims he was targeted in the spring raid for his "unpopular" political beliefs.

He's now filed a $5 million federal lawsuit against the Nassau PD and McCarthy, charging they joined forces to strip him of his guns unconstitutionally.


The case pits Razzano against McCarthy, the most outspoken gun-control advocate in Congress. A crazed gunman murdered her husband in the infamous 1993 Long Island Rail Road Massacre.


The flap arose on March 19, when Razzano visited McCarthy's Garden City office to discuss an article about an illegal immigrant who was deported but was later nabbed in Freeport for the attempted murder of a cop.

"The office staff felt that Razzano's behavior was disruptive and threatening," said Lt. Kevin Smith, a police spokesman.


Razzano's home was raided the next morning.

yep, wont find that on the 10 oclock news. How these people can seize guns from a person that is not being charged with anything is beyone comprehension. And to learn that ***** mccarthy is behind it is absolutely no surprise. I hope he wins his lawsuit.

His problem was he went in there acting like an American, and into the office of a sworn and dedicated leftest telling her how he felt.
Those days are over now where you can do that publicly ,the sooner whats left of America wakes up and realizes it no longer is about 50 united and free states the better it will be.
These places are gone ,and we are not getting them back or make them change , the map of America is changed forever .
The people now saying this are not preaching any type of insurrection , only saying we need to stop complaining and living in the past.

Would it be correct to file a stolen firearms report with the ATF, wonder how much hot water the coppers would be in! No probable cause and no warrant that what it looks like to me anyways.

The anti-gun j/o are not going to stop trying to take guns or your rights, just because Heller vs. DC was a victory doesn't mean the fight is over. People like McCarthy, Kennedy, Pelosi and Obama should be imprisoned for many unjust actions, taking someones civil & constitutional rights away.
