Last Friday I had a group of people at a private range to fire one of my 1919s, during a 15 or more round rapid fire I and some noticed a "Wooosh" sound and an extra flash about one foot from the muzzel, anyone seen this?
Sounds like some old ammo that the powder ignited halfway down the barrel to me. I shot some Turk ammo that would do that. As far as the fireaball a foot out, I get that even with Romy ammo on higher rate of fire shooting....JMHO
