Man you would have loved to have been with me last week. I was on the USS North Carolina and they have a bunch of them around the Ship. There was one room that where they reloaded the drums and it was full of like new drums on display. I even went in a room that was not roped off and there was one on the table being restored.


Here is a quick photo I took before the work crew got back.

I have some feed chute parts........ I believe it is from an Oerlikon, stainless steel painted navy gray. I will pull the parts out and photo them.

What could you trade? I only like trades.



As you can see....some work required and only one mating end.

Yeah, he said it was more related to a Hispano than an Oerlikon. Call me educated, lol. I was thinking, it fit 20mm better, as I had 20mm brass and it fit exactly.

But still available, I have no use for it. It was a "opportunity buy".

They are definitely 20MM Links from some form of Vulcan Machine Cannon. I'll get a better pic of the drum and chutes on that CIWS for you next time I'm over on the Jersey. I may be able to get the stock numbers, we have manuals for that weapon system somewhere.
