Pretty hard to come by today, as ATF has all but ended the old style 80% plate. There is one company I know that still offers this, but my bet is that ATF has not gone after them like they did the major players in the side plate business. KMP makes what they call a 70% plate, which remains fully rectangular on the outside, with the profiles cut to within .030" or .050" or somewhere in that range. These do not require an FFL transfer. Otherwise, perhaps someone here will still have an older plate they have been sitting on and are willing to sell. Good luck!
I was hoping someone would have one tucked away that plans changed and they are no longer going to use. I looked into the 70% KMP ones and have that as a backup. This is going to be a fall project so figured id put out the feelers now while I have the time and see if anyone has any.
