Hi all, been a while since I've been able to get on the board. Had military training and what not and now I'm in the big kitty box till next summer. Sadly this all came before I could finish my 17a1. So I decided that while I'm gone id start looking for a few things I'm in need of and would like to pick up within the next month or so to hopefully get the gun up and running while Im on leave.

So to the point, I know of OOW and Sarcos 1917a1 tripods and a few 1928 tripods that I see pop up on gun broker ever so often. Thing is I really dont need anything pretty. I can clean one up and either a 17a1 or 28 would work for my uses. a little bit of brass would be nice, but not really need.

new/ slightly used issue White Cloth belts. pref 250 rnd, no junk ones from IMA. yall know the type. I know these are getting hard to come by, and there are a few places that have unissued ones for around $50-60. but if i can get a hold of a few for less it would be nice.

308 blanks. lots of 'em. linked or loose. pref loose. will be used for reenacting later down the road. would like a few thousand stocked up. pref the austrian type that WERE common a few years back that sold for dirt. now the ones you find are crazy priced and half the size.

Any help on finding a few good deals on any of these would be great.

Thanks fro the read guys,
Reed

While we are on the subject of parts to complete a 1917a1, does anyone have a backplate with the wooden grips for sale? I would prefer an original, although a repro might also work.

Cole Distributing has them in stock, ready to ship. Original backplates with reproduction walnut grips.
