Hi,

I'm accumulating the tools and parts for my first build. I am building a USGI 1919A4 and using a Halo RSP.

I need a bucking bar. I was told "Machineman" here on the forum was the guy to talk to, but I don't have PM privileges yet :(

WTB bucking bar

thanks,

Bucking bars are good - Plinkers riveting jigs are better! Get in touch with Toolman for info - they work great!
I do have one of Toolman's awesome plinkers jigs (thank you Toolman!). I was under the impression I still needed a bucking bar for the bottom plate rivets.

am I wrong on this?

The throat of the jig is plenty big enough guys and yes you still need a bucking bar to support the receiver box and keep the rivets supported. You install all the bottom plate rivets then the bucking bars and start pressing one at a time.
