Looking for a copy of Dolf's book

"Grand Old Lady of No Man's Land, The Vickers Machine Gun "

If you have a copy of this book that you would like to sell and pass onto the next caretaker, I would gladly take on that role!

Please let me know if one is available and your asking price.

Thanks

I bought the last copy Dolf had about a year ago. It is a great book and I get a lot of enjoyment from it. Ask the guys that say $250 is a crazy price and see if they would sell their copy. Just think of it as four tanks of gas.
You may find a bargin but what ever you pay I would bet you would not resell it for a few more $$. (and remember that the $$ is worth maybe a 1/3 less than when the book was published.) Now this is just my opinion and I do not want to offend anyone so please don't yank my chain. I just wanted to say that it is a great book. :)

...Out of print and likely to stay that way. Not much demand, but even less supply. The publisher makes a lot of his profit thru the fact that Canadian money is worth less than the dollar, but now, of course, it ain't. I too went on the quest. Stupid me, I thought that it would always be available and waited........too long. Someday, and it can't come soon enough, any book you want will be reprinted with a key stroke, but not yet.
...Even worse, the editor who is responsible for collectors books is getting ready to retire ! Damn, but that man knows how to put out one hell of a good book. Dolf ain't no slouch either, but neither of them are spring chickens. :(

Maybe they still have a copy. I just saw a used copy for $75 at the last gun show... who knew.

No luck there, I had sent Mike Stegan a check 2 months ago in hope he had one. Never got a reply nor was the check cashed.

If you run across one at a gunshow pick it up and I will cover you for it and your time.
