Hi

I am looking for the following parts to try a 54R conversion. I need a complete bolt, both the front and rear cart stops, top cover, barrel, extractor. Never having had one before I don't really know what the availability of the parts are. These are the items Troy said I needed to send him to remotely have a chance on the conversion. had I known it would be a challenge to do the conversion, I would have never bought it.

You will probably have better luck finding a complete parts set and selling off what you dont use. I believe std Israeli 7.62 bbl will work, thats what I'm running in my fn30

I think you are right. I dont expect having too much luck with that either

A guy has been putting up a partial FN30 kit on gun broker every other month or so, $900 IIRC. I'd buy it and sell off the rest. bet you'd come out OK in the end.
