Thanks for the link, but way out of my price range. I have been trying to get in touch with the JJCustom guy (makes a single stage loader), but he has not responded to my emails over the last couple of months.

That looks like a very cherry loader package. The star wheels look sharp almost new.
Russ had two real nice loaders with the transit boxes and they were priced very well.
So well that a back up loader isn't such a bad idea actually. I wish the 1918 belt filling machines didn't cost so much, compared to many other loaders out there. Of course some loaders are super rare and command many times higher. The good thing is the value of the loaders has pretty much kept steady for the last 8 years. How much longer are we going to see loaders for 800-1000 with or without a box from an individual; dealer 1000-1200. I bought mine 8 years ago for 890 going rate from Ohio Ord with out a box and one of their last ones they had in stock. There have also been in short supply and sometimes take a while to find one. But there were thousands made, exported and reimported so there are many out there.

I often think as the belt loaders as a gauge to the heart of the Browning BMG market. My prediction is that once the loaders values have raised to the price of 1500-2000 that it will inadvertently harm the market of these awesome guns. That said if you have a gun it better come with a loader.
