hmmmmmmm Rory, im just not sure that anyone is gonna cough up a WLA since they are all gone now.

but if they will jump on it quick.

you could just try doing the camming sections that are listed over at BRP.

Our only hope for a 42/53 receiver is the Cold Steel, right now. The WLA camming section is too short for the M53 kits

Burnt Capital has not posted any updates on their one-piece receiver since Nov 07. If he is on-track (anyone know?), a sample should be heading to BATFE for type classification. Don't hold your breath!

WLA may be able to offer some of their rear receiver halfs later in 2008 but, insiders have expressed some real doubt about that comming to fruition.

I wonder if Century will offer the WLA sections for sale at some point? Afterall, WLA has been making these for Century.

ive read all of the stuff that went with Rocco's....

and unless you are just dying to have the cheapest version of this possible id say to pass on the CCC version.

they have made me some great deals on stuff, i just dont htink this is one of their best parts to make a FUNCTIONAL mg42 out of.

BRP MG-42 receiver

I was wondering if anybody ever built one up into a working gun. And if they ran well.
I know somebody that has one.
Don't know what they sold for or what there worth nowdays.
I believe he has a modified S/A bolt from them as well.
I think it was one of the ones sold on Weaponeer group buy
Thanks
GW
