Good question.....noticed not many willing to give an answer. If a .308 1919 bolt will shoot 30/06,.308,8MM and 7.65 Arg....then it just makes sense to say that the 7.65 bolt....with an appropriate barrel....will handle all the above cartridges as well. As with the 1919A4...headspace,headspace,headspace....

Any caliber with a base that is the same or very close to .30-06, so the bolt face slots will fit the rims. There are a number of other military calibers aside from the commonly used ones, 7.92 and 7.62X51, but they are generally not available or very practical. For instance 7.7 Jap, 7mm Mauser, 7.5 French, various 6 and 6.5mm rounds, etc. Hope this helps.

Bubba! Haven't seen you here before, but I see you have chimed in here and there. Good seeing you at SAR and I have done the 7 mm Mauser, but as in everything else, the prices are all getting up there.
