I bought a Ruger Mini 14 last week and included was a extra Choate stock
for the rifle. Appears to be new, list price from manufacturer is $74, will sell for $50 shipped to your door. Here is Choate's description from their website.

Constructed of a fiberglass filled polymer. These stocks are more comfortable than the traditional wooden stocks in the fact that with the pistol grip, you can hold the rifle in a more natural position. These stocks have a 3/4" rubber recoil pad and two 1" sling swivel loops. These stocks fit the 181 and up series only."
