PICT0005_2.JPGMG-3 mount adapter for browning 1919. This mount adapter drops onto the G-3 mount and latches in with no modifications to the mount. 1919 bolts to adapter with bolts as per usual bolts supplied with adapter. The remote fire trigger built into the mount is utilized for firing the 1919. This allows use of the really nice scope that comes with the MG-3 Tripod.

Question about trigger?

That looks like a really simple but effective design - nice work. That places the gun forward on the tripod correct? My question is, does the remote trigger push straight back or does it lift upward somewhat on the trigger. I can't tell from the pic.....

Looks like a pretty nice setup for the price :)

Yes it puts the gun forward keeps the dispersion down to a minimum. Thats always been a problem with the G-3 tripod and it's recoiling carriage.
The trigger pushes straight back. It relies on the curvature of the trigger and the round stock of the trigger bar for the upward motion. This is a pic of my adapter prototype the new ones have a adjustment on the trigger bar to make up for variations in tripods and semi auto triggers.
Thanks for the intrust
Eric
