FWIW, $2500 is retail on an FA kit with NO RSP, so this is a very good price. Someone looking for one of these should snap it up!

no i saw it and was damn tempted, just like the BAR, the bren kit and a few other things recently. i have to be a little more careful lately.

and as mush as i love the look of these, i just know myself better than to deal with the water part of it. if i had a nice back yard that i could shoot in, and or it was FA and i had loads of ammo, i would be all over this. seriously th eprice is great. i just can't do it right now.

WTK : what kind of trigger/sear assy does OOW use with 1919/1928 semi-auto Browning guns?
I believe they have their own design, as they do for the denial islands. I have not had a look at one though.

The kit is 100% rieady to rivet and shoot. It is blued not parked.
The iternals look identical to my 1919. Infact they are 1919 israeli parts. Not certain if the are 100% identical.

I'm currently in el paso, TX on business but will be back to in Minnesota tommorow and will try to get a picture up

OOW always swapped in 1919 internals for their semi guns and kits. Rumor is the nickel plated Colt parts are soft, though I know some dispute that. I am building mine (someday) with the Colt stuff. And yes, there are some significant differences in the parts. They are interchangeble so long as you are not mixing. It's Colt 1928 or 1919 parts as a set.

This is what their trigger and sear looks like. I added a shim on the trigger so the safety would work.

Here's mine put together with original blue finish (IMA vickers jacket cover) (his may look different)

Lucky,

I know one guy who checked the Colt internals with a Rockwell tester. He said they ARE soft. Even with that, with the price of ammo I dought any of us will ever wear one out...Lou
Yeah, but the side plates are cold rolled, so what of it? ;)
