I have a like-new Ohio Rapid Fire semi 1919A4 in 7.62x51 (.308). I bought it new and it's only been to the range once. I test fired it with about 30 rounds and it ran like a champ. I'm getting ready for a house move, so I'm scaling down a little bit.

It'll come shipped in a Gun Guard case that retails for close to $200. It's a big, beefy case.

I've checked this out already, 1919's are 100% legal (non-restricted firearms). The company in that website is based in canada, and sells semi-automatic beltfeds.

If the gun is complete, it should be OK, however i'm still wondering about parts kits... because they still include f/a parts (less reciever).

Anyways Elvis, it should be legal to buy, just have it sent to a local gun dealer for you to pick up there.

Edit: Restrictions on the american side... Well Marstar buys their semi auto's from that one company everyone hates here.. Not sure the name of it at the moment, the one with those ugly ass browning modificatings everyone dislikes.

Shipping the firearm to canada shouldn't be that hard of a task, as it is classified as Non-Restricted here ( same as any normal hunting rifle, not sure how firearms are classified in US ). I would just ask any gun dealers on this website if they know anything. Shipping your 1919 here should be no different than shipping a little .22 hunting rifle here.

Added some more: I should start a gun dealership! Buy these 1919a4's from here for $1,200 ish , and resell them in canada for $3,700 ish! Marstar is always out of stock, so they must get alot of sales... * got the brain thinking*...

not sure, i'm sure google.ca could privide with some answers lol. Maybe you could try under "Acessories" in Marstar, or get one from the US , i don't think thered be any laws against it?
