What I have is a Smith & Wesson model 29 with a 4" barrel. The trigger and lock work was done by Branson custom. He was a armorer for Bill Davis in Sacramento, Ca. The target trigger was replaced with a regulator trigger, polished and beveled for single action shooting to keep it on target without jurking.
I used to pack this gun while hunting if I ran into a bear. I can no longer hunt and I don't need the recoil.
This is an excellent handgun for the hunter and target shooter.
