Steyr M95 , wood is super nice, bore is good . 8x56r .


Comes with 18 rounds of nazi marked ammo on original stripper clips.



FTF tomorrow at the Sar show - $250 cash.

M95's are neat little rifles. I used to have one in the original 8 x 50 R. I found a bunch of original compressed black powder loads from the 1890's, it all fired. The straight pull action is pretty quick.

A friend has a M1895 in 8X50R it is a "short rifle" with the stacking hook we have shot it a few times straight pull is a little different but works well.

These are cool little rifles! Had one in 8X50, there was an oddity, the 8X56 are much easier to find ammo for. I don't know of anyone making cases, maybe Starline but RCBS has a forming die for 7.62X54R brass. The older rifles had a bore size of .329 but the ones marked S have a boor size of .323. Not exactly interchangeable.....
