in search of education

FNG here trying to learn. I have read that an M3 can accept an M2HB and barrel support. My question then is will an M3 barrel work in an M2 and how are they different than a M2HB. Just an overall comment on this forum and those that contribute. You can learn so much from simply reading the posts plus, it's become my greatest source of cheap entertainment. It's also managed to keep me suitably broke.

M2 & M3 guns have the same trunion.But the M2 has a barrel bushing&barrel support.M3 has only a barrel shroud.
