SPF - WiseLite M53 (Semiauto MG42) also MG3 Tripod And 8mm Belt Loader *REDUCED*

Folks,

SOLD PENDING FUNDS

I have decided to go in a different direction and sell my whole WiseLite Semiauto M53 (MG42) rig.

All of it is in excellent shape like NOS. I have seen some of the WiseLite guns that looked rather beaten but this one is exceptionally finished and really clean. It was built from an excellent Yugo M53 parts kit sent directly to WiseLite from Centerfire Systems. Hopefully the pictures do it justice. (Personally I especially like the one through the optic on the MG3 tripod.)

The M53 itself includes the owners manual, three recoil nozzles with different aperture sizes, a troubleshooting guide by WiseLite, and a sling. The WiseLite customer support folks walked me through getting it running smoothly about six years ago and provided the additional nozzles and troubleshooting guide. All it really needed was a more constricted nozzle and some deburring. It has run like a champ since then. The sling that came with the gun from WiseLite was not to be trusted so I took it to a tanner in West Virginia who remade it using the original hardware. The drum/basket carrier is not original at all. After seeing some photos online my sons and I took it on as a woodshop project and it came out pretty good. (Yah, that's probably a father talking :D ) The pod is in good shape with its straps, clear optics, and only one small crack in the back shoulder padding.

These are the values I reckoned...

Qty Description SubTotal
  1. 1 8mm Ammo Can $15.00
  2. 6 Starter tabs $12.00
  3. 11 50 rnd belts $55.00
  4. 2 Belt Baskets $94.00
  5. MG3 Tripod with battery box $400.00
  6. 8mm Belt Loader $250.00
  7. WiseLite M53 Semiauto $4,000.00
Line Item Total $4,826.00

The list is how it totals up by piece-part but I would sell it as a bundle for $4500 - SOLD PENDING FUNDS + actual shipping. (Yes, the pod is heavy.)

Some of the valuation was hard to come by since I couldn't find everything in stock and some of the vendor prices were rather old. Anyway, the package price is less than what WiseLite is selling a new one for and you get the whole rig with pod and belt loader.

PM me if interested.

BTW - I noticed that a can of belted ammo is pictured but it is not included. I intend to keep the live ammo for my bolt-action mauser but the can and its belts will go with the package.

Thanks,
MuzzleMonk

Matheu - It is a first generation M53 with a stamped steel receiver like the original MG42. Of course when I bought it it was the ONLY generation WiseLite M53 and the choices were to get a WiseLite and add some troubleshooting or to spend what they are asking for the second generation version (or more) and get a BRP. I did the first option and now it works great. Calling it first generation is kind of funny to me, like calling it WWI rather than The Great War. (Of course now it fits.)

Gary - LOL, you are the belt-fed / survivalist / farmer's almanac genius. We have finally discovered a ***** in your armor... Housekeeping! :dunno:

That surely is a beauty. I too would be all over that if I had the funds. Good luck with the sale. ;)

Bump With Reduced Price

Reduced the price on the overall package.

It's an awesome rig but I haven't gotten any movement on it. It would be great for one of our belt fed brothers to get the whole bundle but if it doesn't move soon I will break it up and post it piecemeal on Gun Broker.

I would have thought that closing in on the election folks would be setting up their 'first 100-day' hedge against Hildebeast.
