SOLD: Yugo M53 kit, 8mm. Copy of MG42

Kit is SOLD PROF's

The kit is in VG overall cond.

All parts present including recuperator bolts & nuts.

Top cover attaching pin present, but retainer ring broke (common).

Bore is fair+ - good and 70% clean & shiny with strong lands & grooves. Has pitting in the grooves from the central to within 3" from muzzle area of bore. Certainly a shootable MG barrel.
100% shiny = mirror bore whereas 0% shiny would be sewer pipe.

Kit does not include rear receiver half nor the threaded nose piece as this is the common demil of these kits.

Price is $370.00 shipped & insured via UPS.

The kit is sold profs.

Thanks to all for the interest and my previous kit buyers for the kind recommendation.

par0thead151, sorry, but I don't have any spare parts at this time. Hopefully Pirate can help you out. I may have to call him myself shortly! LOL

As far as the future of new mfg'r receivers, I see no reason they won't be out there for the long haul. Once the machinery is made to stamp them out it should be a breeze. As long as someone can find all the parts to build a 42, I think a mfg'r will make a sheet metal receiver.

It's the kits and parts that will become scarce. The cost to mfg'r a buffer, bolt, top cover assbly, camming pc, barrel & extension, muzzle booster, etc will be enormous compared to a stamped metal receiver.
