For sale is a 1911A1. I am no expert so please see photos and ask questions.

Frame made in 1918, with AA rebuild stamp has a S17 and a eagle above it (think its an eagle) Marked United States Property

Slide is a Colt marked 1911A1 U,S, Army

It is in great shape, I would estimate 90% but again I am not an expert. Was purchased from a veteran friend of mine.

I have 2 and one must go. Funding another project

Mag is marked "2" on the base plate and "G" on the other side of the plate

$1600 plus shipping must transfer to FFL, FFL must accept from me with my drivers Lic.

Thanks
Wally

...original blue...

Looks nice for an older piece,as most WW1 production was refinished and parked before issue from 1938-1945. From the pic's and my old eyes, looks to be about 75%-80% finish remaining. It has been well taken care of and not abused,I believe. I'd keep it,as they are not found with original finish very often. At just a glance...it does not appear to be a re-blue. Good luck....but it ain't a belt fed....LOL.
