I'm left with conflict here. Hunter was found guilty of lying on the background check form (4473)
lets ignore your position on the political landscape and who his father is.
i look around and see all of the states legalizing marijuana. this is still a federally prohibited substance. I also know that many of the firearms community have and continue to smoke or eat pot products. I don't but I also don't care that others do. found out in my youth that i just didn't care for them.
so, with the guilty verdict, what if the atf pulled all purchase records and medical cards from all sales platforms and states to see if they match up with any names on 4473s? then decided to do a mass level search and destroy on all those folks? disregarding which specific drugs the person was on at any point as both crack, and marijuana are scheduled and illegal.
thoughts?
