Just to keep everyone interested in the loop on this discussion - I do work for Nobles on occasion. I have asked about 223 feed chute since I mount my M249 on a pedestal, and wanted to use chute for it and it looks cool. Was told by their Feed chute engineer they do not make it in 223. They use 308 for 223 applications. Check out the profile of the feed chute you have - it is belled out at the base side for the 54R, and looks different. I wanted it for my MK II ANM2 in 303 British ( which Will work in the 54R chute - I tried it with a small sample from them) but they did not have any in production and no orders for it, so until they do I cant even pay the $300/ ft.......
It may be possible for me to buy this feed chute in 308 for folks if they want it. The stuff is not cheap, and will need to be paid for up front - as I noted it is on the order of $300/ ft. Ends are like $175 ea. BUT they do have some cool adapters - I got a 50 BMG set up for my M2HB that attaches right to the Feed Pawl pin. Photos later on ....

Nice link but to make a proper setup you need to think "Aliens II " with the gun on a counter weight mount like the 60`s were set up on

Really, a lady? The company is owned by two men I know personally, they are the only two that answer the phones or return calls. Think I am full of ****? The two numbers for Crane Tech are the personal cell phones of the owners.
Heck, I think both the wives are doctors and could give two craps about Crane Tech.

Kevin I went back and looked to see if there was an email after you said that. Sho nuff on August 30, 2011 there was one in my saved folder and your right it wasn't Crane it was Noble's Mfg. The lady was Sam. I guess in the future if I have the need for some ill call crane instead... You always figured me for a girl scout, that's pretty rich Kevin. I wont dignify that with any comment.. Thanks for the heads up. Bought it! And thanks to the folks who posted their equipment. It's game on for all!
In reference to the feed shutes I had offered for sale in this thred, I need to sell some of the items I have put aside for future projects that I know I will never do.
So, I offer the two feed shutes as shown in this thread, (photos posted by lucky13 for me) both for $500 plus shiping for the pair to a member of this form. If this does not work prehaps I will split them up.
