Does anyone have a rough idea about the current value of a P17? NRA VG overall, complete, barrel date is 12/18, bore is shootable only - not great. I'm trying to decide whether to maybe sell it or to use the action for a sporter build. I and a friend have built several in .375 and .416 using these actions.
There are few gunshows around here which are not 100 miles away (there is one "flea market " show which is pretty much worthless) so I don't get many chances to check prices. I guess what I'm asking is "is it worth selling, or would I do better tearing it down for the action?"
