Another piece out of my collection for sale. This is a 75mm SkySweeper anti-aircraft gun. This was the first US weapon system to incorporate an automatic firing cannon, a computer, and a radar.....all in one package. The gun currently has a plug welded in the muzzle end of the barrel and two welds on the breech block. If you wanted to make this a single-shot live fire destructive device........File an ATF Form 1, wait for approval, remove the plug and cut the two welds.........and you have a live cannon. The gun and mount weigh approximately 20,000-lbs. It can be picked up in Paris,TN or I can load it on a flatbed trailer. The inert 75mm T50E2 round is included with the gun. The cannon has been stored indoors, but was brought outside for photographing. Very few SkySweepers are in private hands in the United States. Including mine, I think there are three. If it were made live fire.....it would be the only one in the country. Price is $25,000.
