I got a UPA without the traversing bar as well to try out. I'm not sure if it is just due to it being worn, but it does fit the upper pintle a bit more snug. It also lets you use the lever on the M66 turret to keep the UPA from turning instead of the wedge lever on the UPA itself. I find the wedge type lever much better on the UPA. Much harder to get leverage on the M66 turret lever get get it tight/loose enough for adjustments.

Looks like the project is coming along nicely. I replied to your email and am happy to help with that part.

Ok figured id ask, been out of country so didnt see posts for awhile. Awesome setup so far would it be possible to get some pictures of the upc and how you got it set up when your done, i have a m66 and am curious about doing this myself.

I will share a quick picture when I get it test fitted. I also plan to make a video on my YouTube channel showing a full overview of the M66 on my truck and what I did to make it happen. I did a video already showing the install of it on my truck... starts at timestamp 11:41;

So, test fitted everything yesterday. My idea with the old M60 adapter worked PERFECTLY and I could not be more happy!

I still have one more thing to modify... butting something to take up all the slop on the rear of the cradle. I didn't realize how bad it was until the rear of it was secured in the T&E. The gun can move 1/8 back and fork and 1/4 side to side easily. Bushings that are welded in place like the pin hole for the 240G/B I think will be the answer. Just disappointing that for a mount that cost so much, this is not done. You can see the gap in the pictures for the rear pin that I'm talking about.

Getting there though!

Looks great Colt (y) I am glad the adapter worked out for you.
I actually got your box after this was made, was able to get my hands on a second one locally. Doesn't hurt to have two in case the first one got messed up.

Will be linking up a bunch of rounds this evening. Got a few cases of tracers and ball to have fun with.

Just waiting on my CrankFire now!!

Sounds like a fun weekend to me just remember we like videos and pictures or it didn't happen.

So, the second M60 adapter came in handy! The cut T&E proved to be a bit to much, even though I just got a mill. So, I cut the tabs and neatened them up a but in the mill, then welded them to the cradle to fill the gap. Gun fits nice and tight in there now. No slop or play at all. Makes it so the pin won't walk out on it's own too. Now, it all just needs to be refinished. I'm thinking CARC Tan Ceracote to match the LMTV.

Also, got my Crankfire System in. Decided to go with the standard pistol grip model. Installed it and adjusted. Very well made product. Excited to get out and run it. I belted a bunch of rounds for my Memorial Day stay at the off-grid Roads End Ranch and I plan to run it good then.

I know the sights are off. Is there a zeroing procedure of them? I'd like to get them locked in good at 100 meters to the sight is close using the rear range adjustment.

Speaking of that, since it is built off an IMI kit, are the marking in meters or yards?

Used everything this weekend. A few minor kinks to work out but overall, fantastic!

Need a few more welds on the cradle and need to see if there is a way to tighten up the M66 hand brake a bit. But, so much fun!

Not the most accurate gun but I didn't expect it to be. Enough to keep their heads down. :p
