I have bought from them several times. I found that for the most part they WERE pretty good. Prices were good and support was good.

Now, its hard to get anyone on the phone or an email from anyone. I have had one friend email, call and text for months asking the same question with no reply. Another who had an issue said he would call like 5 times in a row and then text and would sometimes then get a reply. They still owe me a check for $40 refund that has not come. I am not saying I would not buy from them but know you might have to really work to get any issues resolved. They seem understaffed.

I will also add that the good prices Bob had seem to gone with him on a lot of the things I was interested in. That said, they are still one of the few left importing anything worth having.

I have heard many people speak to a lack of communication. I don't know if I'm special or something, but anytime I have called (it's usually mid morning when I call) someone answers and my issue is resolved quickly. I don't know why I've had good experiences compared to the many negative I've read.

Yeah until they merged or what ever they did ,every thing went up and service went down, I have no animosity towards them about the barrel issue, I'd still buy from them,

Glad to have an update on the company, still buy from them, never had a problem. I stopped a few years back and loaded up the van, Bob was great to deal with in person, had a nice compound. Wish I could have drove away with the 155mm artillery piece he had out side for sale. He had his barrel supply literally up in the rafters.

Exactly where is bowman ARMS located, I've bought a lot of stuff from them and never had a problem, only problem now is no big deal, they left the barrel out of the RAK KIT I ordered but the real problem is trying to get up with anyone there, I just ordered another RAK kit today, if no barrel then we got a problem

Florida

I have bought several things from them when bob ran the show and never had a problem I have not made a purchase yet under the new owner "Gallo" I have however been eyeballing one of there ppsh 43 battle pack kits and will probably end up with one of those I've also heard mixed reviews with the new owner

From my understanding Andrew now owns it. Bob stops by and works there. Definitely packaging is not as good as when Bob was in charge. Prices went up as well. And lastly no more Bob videos. The travesty!

My only experience with them was when I pointed out that the "8mm German MG08" belts they were selling on Gunbroker were actually Russian 7.62 Maxim belts. They copped an attitude rather quickly and with that I decided I could do better somewhere else.

They were sold as MAXIM BELTS.
i know.... they came from me...

NOT in their original listings, they were trying to blow smoke up buyers' asses calling them MG08 belts. I posted a warning on the forum at the time this happened as well as on my collectors page.

Around the same time a company that posts here also had them mistakenly listed as MG08 belts, I contacted them and they quickly made the correction.

It is my understanding that they did merge, but that Gallo is in charge. Bob essentially stepped back but was still consulting/assisting Andrew with the network that he (Bob) built over the years. I have no inside information, just what I have read from Andrew's posts on a bunch of different sites. Andrew has stated that he moved to Florida and is operating BAG out of Bob's warehouse.
