Personally, the front end of the kit just never fit my eye. I was able to get the rear half from TNW and built my version up. My only concerns with the kit is the scratch made back plate and buffer not being sufficient for full auto fire.

With other back plates I have, whether GI grips or spades, they go into my gun(s) without any looseness.....I don't have to force them but the backplates snugly fill the the cutouts in the back of the receiver. The TNW custom made adapter backplate is a little loose side to side in the grooves AND it was made WITHOUT the 2 feet on either side of the trigger which engage the bottom plate. Further, the buffer plunger and spring are non-standard parts.....not an issue per se, except the spring is soft enough to feel give with thumb pressure. I have noticed a bolt impact pattern on the backplate and that is not good.

I have jacked the spring with some spacers, but I think the ultimate resolution is a backplate made with "prouder" tongue dimensions, the 2 bottom plate feet and provision to use a standard buffer plunger and stouter spring.
It may be just me.. But why do you have 9 rivits in your your LS bottom plate...This is the first time I seen this...I have 8

Whats a ballpark price for the TNW buttstock and pistol grip? I like the look, I HATE the A6 buttstock...but TNW stuff doesnt come cheap.....how much?

I will finish it eventually when I can afford to get a feed can for it. Got a buddy that will make the mount on the alice pack frame for me. But can't afford the 700 some bucks for a feed can right now. I guess I could use the can I have but ive been told its a very rare can and worth a lot of $$$ plus its smaller capacity.

Can hook you up with a 650 round gravity assisted pack like this on for $450 without the chute
(Nobel chute end attachment's are included with the pack),
Will be painted of course any color you like after parking.
Made from 1/8th inch 4140 ,SS roller w/ dual bearings,Mounted on a aluminium Alice pack frame.

Thanks

Thanks,

Since I last posted I got a USGI feed can and am just waiting on my friend to finish making the mount for it. One thing I have been considering is taking the M230 kit off and going with a shorty setup. But if I go with the shorty setup I'd like to find a picatanny rail adapter for the shroud so I can use a front grip on it.
