This is a Turkish contract Hotchkiss M1922/24/26. Chambered in 8mm Mauser and strip fed. The kit is complete with the exception of the bipod legs which pop up for sale every once in a while. I intended to build this into a post sample but my welding abilities and experience aren’t quite there yet. I began to weld the front section of the receiver but the pieces kept moving out of spec on me so I cut my welds and shelved the project. Otherwise the pieces are cleaned up and ready for an experienced welder.

I’m asking $2,000 plus shipping for everything pictured plus a small box of brass and aluminum fixturing I made for the re-weld. A brass plug can be seen in the pictures holding the receiver together. If there are any questions please feel free to message me.

if you want help with it, I’m happy to help. It would be a fun project. Also, I have the correct strip for it. The one you have is for 8mm lebel. Not going to work in that gun.

Thank you for the info on the strip. It was included with the kit when I got it and 8mm Mauser fit so I assumed it was correct.


And I just may have to take you up on that offer if this thing doesn’t sell in the next couple days! I’m near Boulder and Sunset so you’re not far at all.

Transit case for the gun or just the barrel? If this doesn’t sell that sounds very interesting as well! However I do have someone asking about it so we will see what happens.
